Alex & Ani – Summer Showroom

It has been a pleasure working in tandem with this client to create a trip around the world visually in their New York Tribeca Showroom. Each season we are tasked with helping to transforming this space into a different part of the world. For the Summer 2018 collection, the theme was Bali. The team wanted to bring light and shadow into the showroom by creating these 12 foot palm trees. It was a great pleasure to help install the trees and see this idea come to life! Material selection was key to create 9-12 foot tall trees that still had some lifelike movement to them. We decided the weight of a steel base, combined with PVC stalks and leaves was the safest way to execute this idea. We then color matched the greens to the colors used through out the showroom. We also created a “living wall” on the back two walls of the showroom to really bring nature to the big city.
