Alex & Ani – Fall Showroom

Another season and another country to explore on this years trip around the world! Each season, this client picks a new location that speaks to the seasons collection. For the Fall 2018 Collection, the deep earthy tones and textures of India were used to accent the beautiful copper tones of the Fall collection. To help bring India to NYC, we created this portal into the collection. Pulling shapes from the art used for the posters, I created the Indian temple archways, as well as the elephant statues on the back wall. Initially we looked at vacuum forming these elephants, but it was decided to take one of the featured pendants (an elephant), and create the illusion of a 3-D statue with flat printed materials (since we had such a small area to work in). The results were beautiful!
