JCPenney
106" x 106" Foam Core Banner Display
JCPenney came to us with a verbal description and a hand sketch of what they were looking to produce – which was a 106” x 106” hollow frame that was able to hold a large double-sided banner. With these guidelines I went to work. I was able to come up with this solution made out of a relatively cheap material (foam core) that was so cost-effective that they were able to replace the displays five times using different colors and banners each month for what they were going to pay for one custom-made wood fixture.
The client saved so much money compared to the estimates from fixture companies, that we decided to add the smaller frame to accent the new branding throughout the store. These smaller frames as well as the large banner displays changed out once a month for several months.
